You can select whether or not the keys/controls on
the front panel of the unit are disabled (locked) when
setting the [CONTROL] key to "REMOTE".
This setting is global and is not dependent on files.
The setting is maintained after you turn off the
power. You can save or load the setting.

By pressing the [ENTER/YES] key while "RS422 Setup?"
is shown, "Device?DV40" appears (in the initial con-
dition). Pressing the jog dial switches between the
setting items.

You can emulate the device code of the DV40 to the
other device.

2. Sync play On/Off
This items sets whether or not to lock to the incom-
ing video reference frame when receiving the RS-
422 play command. If you connect the DV40 to an
editor, set it to "On".
